▸Bakunawa : Sought out by Bakunawa after hearing of her wise demeanor and extensive wares of books, scrolls, and maps. Tenebris was extremely reluctant to share any of her wares or even put up with Bakunawa's child-like naivety especially after seeing his rough introduction to the group. After seeing her rude remarks and hostility go over Bakunawa's head and her inability to shake him off, Tenebris began seeing the latter as an (annoying) younger sibling and finally gave in to his plea for having access to her hoard.

▸Gelbazhn Met through the Wasteland, Gelbazhn was the first encounter Tenebris had through her time in Plague. The two had a shaky beginning but immediately grew inseparable and show their affection through insults. After being ostracized by her Wind peers due to her 'rough' personality, Gelbazhn made Tenebris finally feel at home and accepted.

B I O G R A P H Y

Tenebris joined [The Group] alongside Gelbazhn after wandering together through the Wasteland searching for permanent residence. Tenebris disliked Wind Flights' more passive and carefree attitude, being ostracized by others for her grouchy nature and inability to socialize choosing to take her leave rather than stay where she wasn't wanted.

Tenebris's journey through the Wasteland was a difficult one, not used to the rough environment she struggled getting around and, if not for her extensive reading and research on Plague, could've been the end of her story. While searching for resources to aid her weakened state, Tenebris ran into Gelbazhn; The two immediately irrupted into a battle of violent insults, looks that could kill, and brief physical altercations however due to Gelbazhn's small stature compared to Tenebris, Tenebris's fading health, and Plague's unforgiving land, the two teamed up with Gelbazhn providing aid and Tenebris's size keeping the latter safe finding it more beneficial rather than ending the other then and there.

After a while, the two became inseparable having similar personalities, extensive knowledge
and overall bonding while surviving through plague, eventually being brought out of their reclusive shells by Bakunawa.

▸ Sigurd : Sigurd's egotistical personality drives Tenebris up the wall to no end. She dislikes his hoity-toity attitude and his need to ransack hers and Gelzbahn's wares for shiny or aesthetically pleasing stones and attire to decorate himself. He claims it's in the clan's best interest to gather valuables to sell but is convinced he keeps most for himself.

▸ Aurora :Similar to Sigurd, Tenebris finds no need to keep Aurora's presence in the clan and believes it's a waste to sell the clans valuables when she and Gelzhahn's can offer their services as healers or informants instead. Tenebris believes Sigurd and Aurora are a threat to the clan's safety as their need to dress in eyecatching attire will only bring unwanted attention.

The Myth Behind the Namesake

Bakunawa is a Filipino mythical sea creature, who is believed to be the cause of eclipses, earthquakes, rains, and wind. At one point, this creature's movements through the world were the basis of the babaylan geomantic calendar system.

Usually depicted as a serpent-like dragon with a looped tail, Bakunawa was believed by various groups to either inhabit the sea, sky, or underworld. According to the myths, this dragon is known to be captivated by beauty and music.
