Lore dump, unorganized and not canon (yet):
I believe she's more aquatic looking compared to the Guardian base. Like, for example, her wings can still be used for flying, although they are far more suited for swimming/being used to propel through water. I think her wings look less like wings, and more like large fins, so she can only glide or fly short distances on land. In the water though? Those fin-wings make her move wicked fast! The skin she has also helps her look how I imagine - she has sections of scales that can glow with bioluminescence for example. Her wings also look a bit like the fins on her back, but not exactly. More wing-like, so she can fly a bit. But yeah. And her tail is muscular and flatter to also act as a propeller. And webbed talons of course.

So yeah! Her tome is waterproof of course, and contains all the prophecies divined by herself or those that she's heard from others.

I do know a few things. One, Oracle isn't her real name, but instead her title. Everyone refers to her as Oracle though and she doesn't offer another name. Two, she divines using bubbles, one of the oldest methods of fortune-telling. The Tidelord created this method of foretelling the future and still uses it to this day, though there are many other clans who use different methods now (such as using foliage, animals, or just concentrated Water magic). Bubble-divining is seen as taboo now as well, since it is seen as trying to copy or become the Tidelord. She uses this method though, as it was what she was taught. She can peer into bubbles, either created or found (found is better, since created bubbles have a risk of being influenced by the creator), and can see a future reflected in the bubble. The better they are at divining, the clearer the image is. And if they pop the bubble, voices (and sometimes even images) come forth and give a clearer picture of the future. So yeah, small stuffs!

As for who she is, it's still a bit unclear. I've always referred to her as 'Guardian/Oracle of the sunken temple', though I'm not sure exactly what that means. From what I've come up with so far, she's part of a nomadic clan that swims across the Sea of a Thousand Currents, circulating the depths and collecting rare coral, pearls, and other artifacts to sell and barter with at the surface (with costal clans or Churnscar Wharf/Flotsam Town). They even dive down into the Leviathan Trench to collect treasures, with little fear of what's down there. Though they always quickly return to the depths. For about half the year, they spend their time in deep catacombs and caves, away from other clans and especially away from the Spiral Keep (do you see that cave behind and above the Spiral Keep? That's where they retreat to). For some reason, that I have yet to figure out, Oracle's clan feared the Tidelord greatly, and so would avoid his Keep as much as possible and move around a lot to avoid detection. I have a feeling their fear was totally unfounded, and more paranoia than anything (since why would the Tidelord care about a group of dragons out of thousands?), but there must have been a reason they thought the Tidelord was wrathful towards them. Might have something to do with the fact that they still use bubble divination. Even though they avoided the Keep, Tidelord's prophecies/bubbles eventually slithered into their caves, or eventually reached their ears as they moved around, so they would stay in the loop about current events. They would also, once a year, meet by the Shoredeep Presage to hear of news and current prophecies, though they would never enter the caves or get too close.

Anyhow, Oracle practiced her skills and was seen by her clan to be incredibly gifted. Some years they kept her hidden in the catacombs with a few other clan members and hatchlings the whole year, while the rest of them went out to collect supplies. Those years are when they're most paranoid the Tidelord's servants are coming for them. I imagine they just wanted to protect Oracle and the rest of their hatchlings, since Oracle had the most promise as a...well, as an oracle. :P She had lots of time to practice, and I have lots of ideas for what small adventures she went on in the catacombs (which includes meeting an ancient Mantarune who gave her riddles and puzzles to solve and accompanied her as she explored. A fun friend!). Hmm, thinking about it now, maybe the sunken temple is actually in the catacombs, and that's where they reside. A sunken temple of the Tidelord? Or something else? We'll have to see - have to wait what the Water ancient will look like. :D

So eventually, Oracle predicted a future that would change the clan's lives forever - Tidelord, in the future, goes missing. It was unbelievable. Everyone thought it was a wrong prediction, a false future that won't come to pass, but the rest start to divine on the topic and come to the same conclusions. Somehow, Tidelord goes silent in his Keep, and Oracle's clan no longer has to be afraid. Now, they aren't rejoiceful or anything - they know how much this world needs each of its deities to stay balanced - but it wasn't necessarily seen as a bad thing either. Eventually, what was foretold came to pass, and Oracle was seen as the first authority when it comes to foretelling the future (she was given the Current Caller Raiment...maybe). So, her clan moved out and was finally free to live in the main Sea. They eventually set up a new home in a giant conch shell...not sure where? I like the look of the shell in the top right of the underwater portion, but I'm not sure. It's a bit far from Fire, since Oracle needs to make her way over there for some reason, but it might work. Maybe only Oracle makes her way over, leaving her clan behind, and maybe she does so so she can relay what she know to the dragons at the Shoredeep Presage. But then I've also had the idea for a while that she wakes up one day and her clan is just...gone. Just disappeared. I dunno. If you couldn't tell, this is where things get messy. Still not sure why she goes on land and goes to my clan, or if she'll even directly go to my clan at all. Lots of things to think about. Also not sure, because I want her to be a guardian of the sunken temple and to meet with a Wavebreak Snarler at some point. I'm thinking that the sunken temple will still have some importance, even after they move out, but I still have no ideas.

Maybe she came to my clan in search of her Charge? Her clan fears the Tidelord because they stole the Tidelord's prophecies from the Keep for...some reason. The prophecies are top-secret, kept in scroll form.
