INVENTORY:
Duneglider Cape (lost along travels)

Uh-oh, looks like this old boy wandered a little too far from his home lair (YukiTora#224079), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!

Log of Visits:

12/02/2018 (tacocat)- It was a short trip to reach the Starfall Isles from Jango's previous clan, but still the stars were twinkling in the sky by the time he reached them. These stars matched the twinkling of the trees, a sight which was enough to cause him to pause for a while and appreciate the beauty of it all. Eventually his attention was drawn to a flowery wildclaw, who told him in a hushed tone that it was not safe and to come with him. The two made their way to a meadow in between the trees, which housed the Sleepy Hollow Clan.

Jango stayed among the dragons for a long while, mostly spending time with Bemblefrizzle, the wildclaw who saved him. The Sleepy Hollow Clan had gone into a great hibernation, and he told the guardian stories from before the sleep. He was a fighter, a guard for one of the now elders, Xelnaus. Once they had awoken he had shed his cape and decided to fight for the protection of all dragons.

It wasn't long before Jango knew that he had to move on to another clan. Bemble gifted him with the cape that once served as his royal uniform. He told Jango that he should do everything he can to take care of those that he cared about and even those he didn't care for, because all dragons were important. With these words in mind, Jango continued on his way.

24/02/18 (Rosequinn)- He arrived in a clan on the coast of the tsunami flats, the cave known as the Leviathan Cove. Many dragons lived in this clan, all of them having a special role given based on talents. Jango met the beautiful matriarch Quinntalia, who allowed him to stay in a spare cave and rest up before going on about his travels.

30/04/18 (Strukla)- On his way, he decided to try and visit all of the regions surrounding the vast sea. First off, neighbor to his own home, was the Wind domain. It took him quite a while to reach it, as the sea seemed vast and deep, but in the end, he was successful. The strong wind was just what he needed, as it carried him upwards, onto the Zephyr Steppes. There, he could finally rest his wings and soon after his feet touched the grassy ground, he curled right there and then and fell asleep.

A storm woke him, not a common site in these parts. It felt like early afternoon but the sky was dark grey, there was no direct sunlight and before he managed to reach a small cave in the surrounding cliffs, he was already wet to the bone, cape and all. Inside, he found himself snout to snout with a stern looking female leading a small pack of Wind dragons. Surprisingly, she barely glanced at him before returning to her own. Jango was pleased with this turn of events and patiently waited out for the storm to calm down.

When the sky cleared, he was the first one out. Too bad he still needed to dry his cape before leaving... As he laid down next to it, he noticed her staring at him. Her stretched wings bore an interesting pattern, and yet the bracelets and necklace she wore were made from pure iron, and must've been rather heavy. Jango wondered what exactly was her purpose in her clan. Turns out she wasn't the shy type as she trotted over to him without any fear and directed a long, puzzled look at his stretched-out cape.

Jango gladly told her all about it's history; surely this would make him look all the more impressive. Nobody dares touch the brace, capable travelers, right? Yet all he got in reply was: "You're too weak to carry it." ...Huh?! He went into even greater detail to explain to her how and why exactly did he get it, and who from, too! ...But she just shrugged and replied: "Never heard of him." Why this girl... She obviously didn't understand. Riled up, he was ready to leave but was interrupted by her invitation to train alongside her. Determined to prove to her he wasn't weak, he accepted.

For weeks they trained together, and as they trained, they talked, and their conversations became more polite, and by the few months that passed, the did not only become friends but somewhat fond of each other.

In the end, there were three hatchlings; timid Rider, rather aloof and curious Istvan and Misha, who was the calmest of the bunch. Jango watched them grow for a while, but decided he still wants to fulfill his wish of visiting all the surrounding lands. Hero promised to take care of their offspring and so he was off.

Until... Just as he took a running start and jumped off the reed-covered cliffs and into the air, a familiar squawk was heard. Istvan was there, happily running after his father and to, unknown to him, his death by falling off a cliff. Luckily for the little guy, his father noticed him in time and flew down to catch the runt by his tail mid-air. He sighed after landing, staring at his son who seemed all to eager to follow his father rather than stay with his mother. "Alright, kiddo, you're with me from now on." And so, with his son on his back, the two started/continued their adventures.

(5/2/2018)(Fishtailholly)-
After a while, Jango started to loose where is son was. Istavan tried his best to keep up with his father, but was always too far behind. Jango also needed food and water, and was trying to get to it as fast as possible. Istavan was eventually left behind, and Jango hoped that his son would be good amongst the trials of the world that he'd be forced into.

Jango kept traveling, and ended up being attacked by flying creatures once he made it into the lightning area. He fell from the sky, breaking several bones and being scraped up. If it wasnt for Ripclaw, a dragon looking for other dragons nearby, Jango might as well been dead. She and her tiny friend, Gosha, carried Jango back to the lair, where he was treated immediately.

Jango then met many other dragons in the lair who happened to be traveling too! One of the dragons, named Rigil, happened to become fast friends with Jango, and they enjoyed telling traveling stories to each other. They decided to travel together to their next destination, wherever that might be.

After a while, Jango felt that it was time to leave. He'd been in this lair too long, and maybe he could find his lost son again if he continued. Rigil and Jango picked up thier adventures together, as good friends, and left the Fishtailholly lair.

(6/9/2018)(QueenRed, 310371)-
Jango was searching for something different than he'd already found. The magic at the inn mystified him, but he wanted to learn more about other types of magic. He landed in the Plagued Lands of the Clan of Wandering Thorns, where he bumped into a blind psychic named Pandora. She introduced him to the world of Arcane magic that she'd learned in her birth clan. Taking his newfound knowledge, he took to the skies to gain more.

(6/9/2018)(Nyllei, 295910)-
Jango was at a bit of a loss as to where to travel to next. His knowledge of warriors, accrued over his stint as a guard, was comprehensive, but his index of mages was severely lacking. Most mages were practical things, who only knew the basics, were frauds, or only knew a few niche skills that would take half a lifetime to understand. Even the few specialists he could find were leery of sharing their knowledge. Discouraged, he left to go find a fellow warrior. Perhaps a friendly one who could point him in the way of a combat mage who was adept and willing to take in a pupil.

It was just his luck that he heard rumors of Seivere, an old imperial that last he heard had been in the Scarred Wasteland. The Light dragon had retired to the Windswept Plateau, and careful questioning brought him to the Breezen clan, a small troupe of dragons that welcomed him warmly and directed him straight to his quarry.

Seivere quickly directed him to Starburst, the clan's head combat mage, who showed him how to infect his bites and claws with deadly pathogens by concentrating his magic in select areas of his body. She could teach him no more though, as Wind and Plague magics were very different outside of the very basics.

He thanked them both before moving off, determined to find another mage who could teach him more.
