Flame was hatched into a water clan, and was automatically in an alliance with the Tidelord. He was the only hatchling in the nest, and from a young age it became clear to the little Flame that he was unwanted. His parents were older and already worn out from numerous other litters before Flame. They had determined this group of hatchlings to be the last they would raise, but as it turned out, they got not a group of lovable little Faes but rather one mischievous Mirror. Having one single Mirror was a shock to his parents' system, as every single one of their previous offspring had received the Fae genes from their father. When he was old enough to walk, Flame was kicked around and he was barely a few days old when he ran away, hardly to the dismay of his parents. The trouble-making youth soon found himself alone, and he discarded his old life. His parents had never named him, so he gave himself the name Flame for his wings, vibrant compared to the rest of his body. From the moment Flame saw Lilac, a female Tundra, he knew he was ready to move on from his past. It took some effort to make Lilac his, but in the end they founded a new clan of their own, a clan that now welcomes dragons of all shapes, sizes, and colors. Flame and Lilac had three little ones of their own: two Tundras and a Mirror. Unfortunately, still as nameless hatchlings the three scampered off to a new clan, and despite initial devastation, Flame and his mate came to terms with the loss.
