______ A dragon with confidence to be envied. Maka is an enormous specimen, even for a Guardian. He is strong, sturdy, and unflinchingly optimistic - thus he has never once worried for his own safety, as he is either too intimidating to be trifled with or too trusting of those around him.

With a natural and powerful sense of duty, loyalty, and justice, Maka slipped effortlessly into life by Pyre's side. At first, he helped her - hand in hand - build her home and her colony. For years, they co-led the affairs of the Glade and oversaw the order and well-being of the citizens as they slowly took up residence under the Guardian pair.

______ These days, with the clan being as large as it is - though it's still a relatively relaxed organization - things can't be quite as slap-dash as they were in the past, so some leadership duties must be specifically allocated to individual dragons. Thus, Maka developed into a natural role of Captain of the Guard. He oversees the safety of the clan and all official envoys into other territories. He meets with emissaries and monitors meetings. His charm and inner sunshine make him a delight in most halls, though he heavily leans on the cleverness, wit, and knowledge of dragons like Satya - who typically perform the more intensive duties and discussions when relationships are being built.
