.. Lior is a classic example of a Tainted Gold dragon. At a young age, she was far more carefree and happy. Lior spent her time basking in sun rays, helping prepare food for the clan, and looking after hatchlings. Lior was very close to her mate, Lux, who would gift her with her favourite flowers frequently- Black Tulips. As the clan was very peaceful, Lior was at ease. During this time, their eldest child Aralim still resided within the clan and Lior doted on him.

Aralim became old enough to leave for his own clan where he has become a successful asset. Lior's clan decided to shift in the Sunbeam Ruins, to a bigger area that was a little closer to the Hewn City. Soon enough, Lior began to feel a strange pull towards this dark, eerie area. The clan's lead exploratory scout, Sludge, had already investigated the area and found no immediate danger, so Lior decided she would visit. It was there that she found her Sunguard Chest. Overcome with glee, she subsequently returned multiple times in the hope that she would find more amazing pieces.

As time went on, Lior began to amass quite the collection of rare, mystical items. Lux tried to get Lior to stay within the clan's territory and look after hatchlings like she usually did, but Lior had no interest anymore. All she wanted was more artifacts. Lior began skipping meals, becoming aggressive if anyone went near her stash. She took to hiding her things so only she knew where they were. Much of her original personality appeared lost within this craze of treasure hunting, and Lux became unsure what to do. Neighbouring clans warned about the dangers of visiting the Hewn City too often, but they learned about it too late. Lior's wings were already tainting.

These days Lior has a little more control over herself- having such an incredible stash amassed allows for clarity of mind. Although she still dearly loves Lux, she found comfort in another dragon who is going through the same confusion as herself- Itzal. Lior still never regained her original mothering instinct, and depends on Lux to look after her hatchlings. She has the most dealings with Onyx and Inanna, who are well aware of her condition. If she's feeling particularly lost in the haze of the city's pull, Lux will give her Black Tulips- they help to anchor her back to solid ground.
