Morgan

While his brothers took to swimming quite well, Morgan simply did not have a knack for it. And so, while his brothers spent their days swimming and diving, Morgan remained on the shore with his mother listening to all that she knew about the ocean and its inhabitants. Fascinated, Morgan learned to preoccupy himself in other ways, studying anything and everything he could about the ocean while confined to land. He started by collecting shells and analyzing them, figuring out what creatures would live in which kind and what type of benefit it would provide. He kept snails and clams whenever they washed ashore, studying them for a few days before safely releasing them back from whence they came. Morgan began a team effort with his brother, Caspian, who enjoyed diving, where Caspian would bring something interesting back to shore from each dive and Morgan would give him information on it. The two loved the game and both gained a great deal of knowledge from it. On days where Caspian was too excitable to participate in a practical way, Morgan would go and learn about the ocean from the local maren population that the isles' had made a treaty with. Most of the maren loved sharing knowledge to the young hatchling, but eventually the day came that he learned of the plight dragons had caused their kind and it changed him. From that day forth, he knew he wanted to leave for Sornieth to not only continue his research on what the ocean life was like there, but also to try and be an ambassador to help dragons and maren alike.
