Desiree

As soon as Desiree joined with the Clan, many of the male dragons thought: "What an unbelievably gorgeous girl."

The young Coatl was very gentle, confident but not overconfident, sensitive but not easily to upset. She is trusting and truthful, wears her heart on her sleeve and trusts those around her not to break it. The clan members would describe her as being sweet and honest, quite talkative, unafraid of strangers and quick to befriend about anyone.

As she focused more on feelings than rationality her carefree attitude annoyed the cynics around her, such as Gahiji, who from the beginning rejected to ever come near her. Whereas the other part of the male population felt quite attracted to the lovely female.

Desiree however had no idea about how others reacted to her; and that made her truly beautiful. Always cheerful and optimistic she showed to be extremely kind-hearted and not to judge others by appearance. But her naive, starry-eyed mindset quite often caused misunderstandings and she accumulated a fair-sized number of heartbroken admirers.

Immediately after settling down with her new family one noticed her love for fashion, for sketching designs and collecting all kind of materials. Her place was filled to the bursting point with fabrics from all over the world, collected by Desiree's friends so she could work out something beautiful for them.

Most of the time, the sweet Coatl designed her next piece with the future owner already in mind. She then spent hours and hours brooding over storyboards with sketches, first sewing attempts and the gathering of all the materials. This was the creating phase in which Desiree shut herself away from others, trying to take her vision that's swirling in her mind and to put it into a visual expression. It was her most beloved part of her profession and she enjoyed every minute of it.

After developing the draft of the design she started working on actually making the piece of apparel or accessory, carefully converting her ideas into reality. She loved being involved with forms and patterns, to use her mind and hands to create something new and unique.

The young designer may have often seemed restless or irresponsible while chasing after yet another of her projects and plans, but with her determination, energy and ability many of them were successfully realised and now pleased dragons in and outside of the clan.
