Adventurous, mischievous, occasionally irritable. Once nicknamed the flower of the tundra.

Shanshui loves to play the occasional prank on other dragons, including tricking young dragons in the wintertime. He will bury himself in snow, an easy feat for one with the element of ice; and young dragons will find his magnificent, glittering, and eternally frozen horns and think them a seasonal winter plant or a misplaced candy stick--and with one lick, they find themselves unpleasantly stuck and soon facing the one dragon in the clan whom can not only prank you to the point of tears, but do it either in jest or pure malice.

Alas, the frozen landscape of winter chills this dragon's temperament and releases him to merriment and joviality, and it is in winter that the other clan members socialize most with him and offer him gifts of goodwill in the knowledge that he won't be snippy or suspicious about the motive behind the gift...and in the hopes that less misfortune, whether by his claw or otherwise, will befall them in the remaining seasons.
