Biography
D I V I N I T Y SHE / HER Guardian Angeliiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee |
Having hatchlings of her own was all Divinity ever wanted. She wanted to experience the happiness of getting a fruitful brood, the joy of raising children of her own with unique personalities. She wanted to be a source of help to them when needed, a supplier of advice when asked, a pillar of support when they’re feeling helpless. Unfortunately, life had a different direction and that direction was not the one she wanted. It was an ordinary day in the clan when an angered dragon stormed the grounds, Divinity among the few dragons that rose up to protect the clan from the rampage. The battle was in their favor when the dragon slammed its bigger body into her, causing her to fly into the air and slammed into a tree. A broken branch impaled her in the lower stomach, right where her womb was located. The clan healers did their best to reverse the damage but nothing they tried was successful. The report devastated the Guardian to the point where she refused to leave her lair, either Moonstone or Amity consoling her. When she finally decided to leave the lair and face the clan again, they welcomed her with open arms and loving words. As time went by, mates began to spring up in her clan, which meant hatchlings were soon to follow after. Divinity had to stop herself from becoming boiled over with jealousy, the urge of wanting hatchlings of her own was relentless. But that wasn’t the only urge she felt. As the nesting grounds were starting to be filled with eggs, Divinity found herself guarding the eggs and making sure the hatching process went smoothly. As the nursery became full of hatchlings, that urge to protect kept coming again, the Guardian knew her Search was over and that the tiny dragons that would flock her whenever she was near were her charges. Parents were very grateful for Divinity’s presence, the Guardian managed to keep the little ones busy by teaching them how to hunt and gather and to fight, while their parents attended their business. On special occasions, she managed to persuade the hatchlings parents into letting them spend the night in her lair, her mate Moonstone telling them elaborate stories of heroticism and fantasy. As the night grew late and the children all snuggly and sleepy, Divinity would think about her barren womb. However, any thoughts of disgust or failure would not plague her. While she wanted children of her own, the opportunity she had now was good enough. Lore written by Sacrilegious |
