You will have to excuse him if he appears distant from the rest of the clan. After all, he is not much of a talker, and potions are infinitely more interesting than a conversation. Except, of course, when that conversation is with Celest. The two understand each other better than the rest of the clan ever will and it was natural that they eventually gravitated to a relationship more intimate than either had initially expected. He worries for Celest, but has faith that the shaman knows what he is doing. He still keeps mostly to himself, nowadays. Were it not for the colour of his eyes, you wouldn't guess for a minute that he was born of the Wind—he channels that spirit into focusing on alchemy. Most of it was next to worthless. Good for fodder. He hummed softly, nodded, and handed over some money. The dragon left, and he scooped the food into a bucket and dragged it over to his cauldron. As he dumped in a handful of lizards, he considered himself very lucky indeed that he was not in their place. After all, if he were living a different life, it wouldn't be so difficult to end up as some sort of exalt. He shuddered as he thought of it, and quickly finished the task so he could move on to more pleasant things. bio by @ Kizzan
