Magebane
While Avantoe is away, Magebane and Cadantine share joint leadership of the clan. Magebane is comfortable handling the majority of beastclan meetings, which is something Cadantine appreciates since she's not as polished at the politics involved. She respects his wisdom and while both of them can be exceptionally silly in their personal lives, they are efficient and serious when they need to be. Magebane is in good standing with the beastclan leaders. The dragon portion of the clan often regards him as the dad of the lair even though only Avantoe is his child by blood.
Magebane loves pungent foods most dragons with a sharper nose can't stand. He also loves sleeping in the sunshine, inevitably having to get up and move multiple times as the sun navigates the sky. He and Dolly are friends, not close but prone to spending hours talking when both of them find time in their busy schedules. He's got his eye on Featherfoil, helping her out with her impatience and her difficulties dealing with strangers. He's also sweet to Marrentil, going out of his way to make her comfortable when he can. He and Ranarr are old friends and Magebane would never imagine travelling anywhere without Ranarr comfortably close behind.

| Magebane was raised in a tundra lair and is happy to have picked up the majority of his adoptive family's temperament and disposition. He is incredibly friendly and ready to help out whoever needs it, regardless of their breed or element. What he lacks in scent memory he has learned to make up for by lacquering his pearl, and because of this he tends to salivate when trying to learn something new or when trying to remember details during a conversation. If he's not in a social situation that allows for tending his pearl he often can be found rolling pebbles or other small items around his mouth to quell the drooling a bit. He strings these together or stores them away in baskets in his personal quarters, but he will occasionally gift them to friends as a memento of a fond time they shared. |
