Carwyna

Serene | Gentle | Polite

Carwyna is a gentle soul who is a quite well-traveled dragon before at last finding a home within the Viridian Labyrinth. Not terribly long after being born beneath blustery winds of the Southern Icefield, Carwyna wandered from clan to clan, occasionally taking temporary mates and taking in the many great and terrible sights this wide world had to offer. She spent a great while among her own kind; a flight of Imperials, all who had seen a great many years just like her; aimlessly wandering in search of a place of permanence.

Eventually, she found herself within the company of the Burmecian Clan, a tense and haphazard group which had yet to find their feet. The leadership was poor and the dragons were moody and predominantly bad company. Especially Hylia, a proud, older Imperial with shimmery scales and a cranky disposition. In any case, Carwyna was fond of the territory. The weather was often clear and the small patches of tucked away, sunny medows overgrown with sweetgrass were perfect places for sunning her scales. Often content to keep to the forest floors and rest beneath the sun's rays, Carwyna often kept to herself in the clan.

This troubled Hylia. "What gave you the right to be so carefree?" He'd ask, in a huff. She'd only shrug, smile, ruffle her wings.

"Well, anything else would be a waste of time, don't you think?"

Carwyna took a shine to Hylia straight away. He was grumpy, but he was genuine. And the more time she spent with the Imp, the more he seemed to be quite nice. Perhaps he was just lonely, she thought, or perhaps he never knew how to simply enjoy the sun's light and the humming winds in the sweetgrass. A reluctant friendship grew to fondness, and eventually the pair forged a bond of pure affection. Carwyna adores Hylia, and is more than content to raise clutch after clutch at his side until the Gladekeeper call her.
