Belttissa was born with a genetic flaw that makes her almost blind by daylight, big movements of observed objects being detectable.
She can come across as listless from her usual lack of activity or response to goings on in the day. The Fae finds shade comparably comfortable to dawn and dusk. From a very young age she has expressed an interest in stars, but tends to ask questions upon anything she may encounter as a general rule, and soak up what knowledge she may.

Belttissa has been known to enjoy experiments, having, in the esteem of some, a lack of concern for safety. Ever since 'Dream-Fog Night', her experiments within the lair have been required to comply with specified safety regulations.

How quick Belttissa can be on the uptake usually depends on how interesting she finds whatever change has taken place.
