Biography

Tania's a tree dragon. Over all the years and all the places she's lived, she's met plenty of dragons who don't really know what that means, enough that sometimes she wonders if she knows what it means. After all, she doesn't photosynthesize, or grow leaves or flowers. She's not rooted anywhere - she's traveled a fair bit, in fact. She's just brown and green. Just a Mirror. Just like any Mirror, she's a bottomless pit who likes to be in a big hungry mob of other Mirrors, ideally at a barbecue, and just like plenty of other Mirrors, she's still loved and lived with plenty of dragons who aren't Mirrors. Her longtime mate was a Fae, after all, and not a tree dragon either, and they raised hatchlings on the Windswept Plateau and in the Tsunami Flats.

But they were split up by the maelstrom that tore through the Sea of a Thousand Currents, back when the Tidelord disappeared, and she's been on her own ever since. It was intimidating, and sure, she still gets lonely sometimes. But she's getting by. She thinks sometimes about the trees she's seen; growing out of what looked like solid rock, twisted and tilted by wind, scarred but still alive after lightning strikes. Growing around dragon-made creations, pushing through cracks in marble or breaking new ones in cement. Trees find ways to grow in anything, through anything, around anything. Trees always find a way.
