While his brother Amir is a well-respected scholar, Naello's merely a simple guard.

His childhood wasn't unique. He didn't have a hobby or a plan for his future. He signed up for Amir's quest not because he was excited about it, but it sounded like a reasonable idea for a dragon with a little combat training and nothing else. The long travel was awful and he regretted his decision each time something didn't go as it should, knowing however that he can't go back or leave his brother alone. When they finally arrived in Ykwi'maw, Naello was more than thrilled. Finally, a place to rest!

But then he got to know all these weird dragons who lived here and started to worry. Spirits? Ghosts? Ominous stories and eerie magic? He didn't want to dabble into this uncanny stuff. When Amir proposed that they should stay here forever, Naello felt terrified -- but the concept of another travel was even scarier.

He became a guard because he had to be someone, but he isn't exactly satisfied with this occupation. Yet what else could he do? As time passed, he got used to a few weird things about Ykwi'maw, however, he still gets uncomfortable around certain dragons and beings.

Even his mate is mad with her obsession with bones and skulls! He loves Aghavni but certainly would prefer if she had a more conventional occupation, as she often freaks him out.

Still, he won't leave her. And he won't leave Ykwi'maw either. Maybe it's a result of weird, wild magic which fills this place?
