B A P T I S T E
tinkerer -- inventor

Baptiste (or at least the closest rendering of his real name) is a
gentle, paternal creature. His lair is usually open to those who may
wander by and see the older Tundra tinkering on one thing or
another.

As most Tundra are, Baptiste rarely speaks- though some wonder if
he may be mute or if he simply enjoys the silence. In either case,
Baptiste shows no discomfort as he methodically and carefully
makes small creations of one kind or another in his comfortably
large burrow. Now as to how many tunnels branch off from his lair,
no one truly knows, but some of the other older dragons appear
to be much the same.

No one is entirely certain where Baptiste came from, either. Most
remember him being present even when the tribe came to find
the expansive labyrinth of lairs in the deep ocean cliff, but when
asked about it, the Tundra says nothing- though he does smile
faintly as if thinking of a fond memory.

Occasionally, Baptiste ventures from his burrow and accompanies
teams into the "coliseum" territories as a healer. It is difficult for
any dragon to even think of the older Tundra as anything but the
healing tinkerer with the mysterious history.
