The old dragon gives a hearty chuckle.

"If you think that old GuiShu is here to train recruits, then you are quite mistaken. Oh, yes, I used to train, but my last encounter with a molten wartoad saw to my retirement. It's not all that bad, though. I get to spend more time with my bird and do what we do best. Fishing."

"Ptera is now the one in charge of training up the clan's guards. I merely stay here to look after the new recruits. Give them a few fighting tips and keep up their morale. That sort of thing. Oh! And of course, to share my catch of the day!"

"Today, I caught many a fine squid! Here, have some!"

He smiles widely, clearly very proud of his catch, as he hands you a bowl of calamari rings.

"You don't want? Well....."

Pulling back the bowl, the old imperial still smiles.

".....that's just more for me then, isn't it. hehe"

He pops a few rings into his mouth and savours the taste, before continuing on.

"Not all recruits stay to become clan guards, mind you. No. Some go off to guard other clans, or even become trainers themselves. Occasionally, some come to train but then have second thoughts and cold feet."

The bowl gets handed towards you again.

"Are you sure you won't have any?"
