 The Exiled Prince “In the face of the most threatening circumstances he had fought and clawed his way out, propelled at times by nothing more than the strongest determination to survive. Yet, for all the trying adversity that had befallen his person, he appeared for the most part ever calm and composed, carrying about his person the sort of sombre gravitas and unconcerned grace expected of a long and noble pedigree. If he at any moment in time felt fear, he did not show it - did not speak a word of it to anyone, did not even dare breathe it into the air, lest the demons from his past catch up to him.” || ❤ || Stately and physically striking, Velkan carries about his person a strange kind of aristocratic dignity that often makes others question where he's from. Although he's often saddled with more than his fair share of admirers on account of his looks and charm that could only be described as majestic, he usually maintains his distance from those who attempt anything more than polite acquaintance, keeping a thoroughly inscrutable poise. As a result, not many of the clan know much about him, and he almost appears as if he prefers it that way. To date, only Cillias is an exception to that - indeed, Velkan tends to look slightly more cheerful than usual when around his (self-proclaimed) bodyguard, and even goes so far as to confide in the other from time to time. |
