Biography

Unhatched Wind Egg
Wind Representative
- Gentle - Guarded
- Loves wandering

As the sun began to rise, an adventurous young Spiral hatchling toddled off of a tall steepe. Her many small wings caught the strong breeze and she found herself soaring off into the great unknown. She landed safely a distance always and was later caught by her clan and returned home, but she never forgot that feeling of freedom, of being able to enjoy herself instead of spending boring hours being trained to serve. She was born and raised to be a servant and though she was treated kindly she was still thought of as less, one hatchling among many that would never return to her place of birth and would simply be one dragon among many that would serve a fickle deity that she cared not for. She didn't even have a name.

She had no interest in learning to fight or to listen to lectures about how important she was (for, in reality, she knew no one she knew truly cared about her as anything more than an exaltee). She wanted to be able to choose to serve and became rather angry and rebellious. She was a young hatchling who wasn't sure where she belonged but she knew she didn't belong here. She loved Wind, the freedom, the soaring through the beautiful lands and she knew she probably would be even be treated fairly at the Cloudsong and actually be allowed to enjoy herself, but she doubted she would be loved or get a name. Perhaps if she was older, or her training was less harsh. she would be more willing to go to the Cloudsong but she wasn't, so she wanted to leave. She longed to play with the toys that she saw non-exalt hatchlings play with, to have parents who adored her and tried to teach her how to fly or hunted little beetles for or at least someone who would miss or even remember her.

One of the dragons in her clan responsible for caring for exaltees saw the pouty young hatchling with loneliness in her eyes and realized she didn't belong. She spoke to the young Spiral kindly and the little one told the older dragon about her troubles and unhappiness. Knowing full well that she couldn't go to the Cloudsong or stay at the clan she helped Caesha to find a clan that was willing to take her in. She traveled to the Scarred Wasteland and stayed with a Plague clan there that wished to train her to serve the Plaguebringer, but she was unhappy and so she was sent off again. She had a broken, sad heart and felt no belonging, like the only reason anyone would ever want her was to just fight in the Dominance battles between flights. She was a young, tiny outcast who could barely fly that no one wanted. A light blue Skydancer named Xenti with purple wings found her at a place for exaltling dragons, crying in a heap. He gently comforted her and with a pang of shock he realized just how young this broken little scrap was. Others her age - including the many hatchlings that he cared for - would be playing without a care in the world, but her cares weighed heavily on her and she could barely carry them.

He visited her daily to bring her little toys and treats until, finally, he realized that if he didn't do something, she would have a bleak, loveless life. He brought her to the Endless Dusk and gave her a home where she began to heal from the trauma and opened up her guarded heart. Now that she was safe and full of joy her tendencies as a Wind dragon came out and she took to exploring. She finally returned to the Windswept Plateau and, once she got over her childhood memories, fell in love with it. She maintains the Endless Dusk's connections in the Windswept Plateau and travels there frequently for business.

Jerrod and Leaflet came to the lair around the same time as her and they became close friends and she often escorts Jerrod when his hug-spreading journeys take him into the Windswept Plateau.
