Being the only boy in a clutch of four is difficult for a young fae, especially when you're the smallest, but that hasn't stopped Harwin from realizing his true potential as a gifted prodigy of the sea. Being born on the glittering shores of the Sunbeam Ruins, Harwin has never been able to mold the waves of the oceans as his mother can, but when he combines his light magic with water, the result is remarkable. Using just a few tricks of light, Harwin is capable of making convincing mirages appear out of thin air, or blinding his adversaries with shimmering rainbows, and combining the two gives him the illusion of teleportation. These skills have made him invaluable as a scout in the homestead of his sea-dwelling clan. With just a flutter of his wings, he can drive away intruders, leading them astra to the dark waters beyond, or mask the entrance to their lair entirely. With him on their side, very few dragons can enter this protected place uninvited. Those dragons that know him are often awed by this little fae's innate abilities, but Harwin struggles to find true value in them even after all his successes. With three sisters that take after his mother, it's hard for him to compare himself to these sirens of the sea, but one day he'll come to realize that being the biggest, doesn't always been the best, and a little sleight of hand and diversion is sometimes more precious than a watery grave.
