Lir is young, and many would call him idealistic. His energy seems never-ending, sometimes to the ire of the older and more experienced dragons. He can often be found entertaining hatchlings; his big imagination makes him an excellent candidate for storytelling, and he captivates his audience with tales of the vast Sea of a Thousand Currents that he came from. Born on the edge of the Scarred Wasteland, curiosity drove him into the arid Boneyard, where he found there was a great need for his particular talents.

Despite his youth, Lir serves one of the clan's most vital functions. There is a very limited supply of clean water in the Abiding Boneyard. Before Lir joined the clan, those less accustomed to the land's diseases often became sick from drinking from contaminated sources. Lir has the uncanny ability to purify water, using magic learned when he was barely more than a pup in the Sea. He has an unusual affinity for this particular magic. Therefore, even when his personality is immature or irritating, the rest of the clan has immense respect for him. His presence has made life just a bit easier- not a simple task for a group traveling in the Scarred Wasteland.
