Biography

Rory was given power far before she was ready. Her sister, Royse, was originally chosen as the heir to the clan, but Royse was killed in the terrible storm that claimed the lives of so many clanmates. Stricken by grief, Rory's parents left the clan shortly afterwards. Leaving Rory with no experience or any idea how to lead, but the only one in the clan who can do the job.

She's a bit of a hot mess like several other dragons in this clan; extremely reckless and prone to making terrible decisions. She's demanded that Mezawari teach her to fight, and the wildclaw, a little confused but happy to have a new student, has agreed.

Rory's familiar's name is Traveler and he is a horrible enabler who makes bad decisions right alongside Rory. They need to be supervised. Fleance, her mate, adores them both, but is sick of their shenanigans.

Almost all training sessions end in Mezawari having to fight off whatever wild animals they're dealing with while Rory tries to be a hero and gets herself hurt.

Lately, Rory has been having strange dreams she doesn't understand: horrible nightmares of explosions and fire. She hasn't told anyone, and they haven't seemed to affect her that badly. The reprieve she has comes in the form of other dreams, peaceful ones but still no less strange, where the world is populated by strange, two-legged creatures with no scales or feathers and only the smallest pelts.

Would definitely have an "An Open Letter" esque rant if anyone ever insulted her or those she loves. (warning: explicit language at link)
