Neriya
The Terror

Neriya is one of the clan's strongest warriors, bearing the rare distinction of having impressed the notoriously difficult to impress Matriarch. She is a skilled enough fighter that she might have achieved the rank of Second, save for her rashness and unpredictable temper. She is a ferocious fighter, true, but her battle-lust can easily overcome her, driving her forward in the joy of fighting without thought, never stopping and never yielding until the battle is done. That carelessness for her own safety could get another lesser fighter killed, but it only pushes Neriya forward. Still, the title of Second went to Tesona, better able to control her temper. Neriya bears her no ill will, understanding why she achieved the position. She greatly respects any fighter as competent as Tesona too much to bear her rancor over the matter, and the two are actually close friends, sharing tales of their victories and skirmishes over several bottles of Bynau's best brews.

Neriya has a fierce temper outside the battlefield too, finding it difficult to hold her ire in check should someone arouse it, and unyielding when it comes to getting her way. This has given her a reputation as being impossible to argue with, and most of the clan tries to avoid it at all costs. Her mate is Eltrys, calmer and less fierce by comparison, without her strength of personality. It's clear that she loves him, and that the feeling between them is mutual, but she has a tendency to steamroll over any disagreements the two have. Her attitude and temper make her intimidating, even to her mate, and when she raises her voice and insists that her way is the way things need to be done, he usually acquiesces fairly quickly. Neriya's dominance in the relationship is well known among her kin.
