patron of earthquakes | temperamental, self-conscious, stubborn

Home was long the decayed roots of Labyrinth, in the years the gladevines were a battleground: an open and bleeding heart of their god to tear. Many were born in the stillness (most notably Brother, brought beneath his wing when he was still young). Though eternal, primordials are still born with blood, and Algernon had the spirit of a soldier sewn into his flesh. The gladeveins were once his cause to defend, and then when father-god came to reclaim his lands to cradle his true children, he fled to seek a new war to feast his talons. Since then he has been pursued by the Weaver, and sometimes Algernon is soothed, and other times he shatters. All that is consistent to his existence is the crags like footprints left in the wake of his outbursts, teaming with new and vibrant life.
