Radiance's egg was stolen by the Beastclans from her home and stowed away in a spot deep within the Sunbeam Ruins, where a vein of magic ran close to the ground. The Light energy ran through the egg and the hatchling within for many moons, and she emerged with the red eyes and sharply angled features of a Plague dragon but a strange power from the Lightweaver's realm.

The Nocturne's flesh under her scales glows with the light of the sun, and at points a burning light flares out from her skin. Other members of the clan have noticed that her blood is glowing and golden, and sparks small explosions where it hits the ground. Her tears are likewise explosive, starting small fires when they fall.

Cheerful and seemingly immature, Radiance could easily be mistaken for a child, but her eccentric and upbeat demeanor drops when she enters battle. She puts her Light magic to deadly use, blistering the skin of enemies who strike her and blinding them with blasts of golden light.
