His scales are burnished gold and his eyes blaze like a tempest. As the commander of the elite Queen's Guard, Ornstein is a figure of authority, respected by her clanmates and feared by all else. He carries an aura of justice wherever he goes. His roar is a call to arms that strikes discord in the hearts of his foes and rallies his allies. With his great wings stretched wide and his fangs bared, he stands as a stalwart defender of his Queen and clan. His unwavering courage is a beacon of hope when times are tough. It is not only Ornstein's intimidating physique that causes him to stand out. More than anything, he is known for his mastery of thunder and lightning. With a breath attack as fierce as a thunderstorm, he unleashes bolts of lightning that crackle and dance across the battlefield, striking down his enemies with lethal precision. His power is awe-inspiring and fearsome, a testament to the ancient lineage he descends from, but is only used as a last resort as Ornstein prefers to settle things with a good physical brawl. Despite his fearsome reputation, Ornstein is not driven by bloodlust of dreams of conquest. First and foremost, he is a guardian above all else, sworn to protect the High Queen and his clan. He takes this duty very seriously and would lay down his life for his charges without a second thought. His loyalty is unwavering, his dedication unshakeable. He leads his fellow Queen's Guard with wisdom and compassion, inspiring them to acts of valor and heroism in the face of turmoil. As one of the oldest dragons in Everloft territory, he is a legendary figure among his clan especially when it comes to the younger dragons. Mothers tell their hatchlings stories of his courage and honor. Tales of his deeds have seeped down through the years into the very foundation of the clan's history.
