Keeper of Souls

She is very pensive, mysterious and elusive. A mute and twisted member of my Clan who 'saves' abandoned or emotionally traumatised hatchlings by leading them away from their mothers by attaching their souls to hers. She nurtures them and takes them under her wing, becoming their 'mother' in a twisted sense. Her actions are eerie and have some kind of weight to them. She has some kind of ethereal draw about her that seems to pull dragons into her grasp.
Only one of member of the Clan, her lawful mate, Stephen, has ever heard her speak and seen her let her walls down. Some say her voice sounds like the rasping croak of a dragon taking its last breath or a whisper of a dozen screams that echoes around one's ears with no seeming source. Veterans of the Keepers will often smile if younglings ask about the legend of the Empress and often say no more. The lucky few who ask may be granted a small comment about how she may often grumble under her breathe about the quality of her last meal.
