Biography
The Falcon King
Side: The CouncilMate: Freya
Surviving Children: Strix,
The King hovered and swooped, like the bird he was named after. His wings, patterned like those of the Peregrine Falcon, beat the air currents mercilessly. He looked on at his domain with keen eyes.
He was the lord of the skies. He was proud, but not arrogant. Clever, but not hot-headed. Gentle, but in the way the wind becomes gentle and soft right before the thunder storm hits. In those peaceful moments, like how the life is fair before the falcon snatches it away from his victim. His prey.
Greetings, stranger. I see you have chosen the Unified Crown. This is the the Crown that keeps together our clan, that leads it through harsh times and carries out the greater decisions. The Crown currently is worn by the King Horus and the Queen Freya, who equally share its honour and burden. It was passed to them by the Clan Founders, Viper and Valor. Together, the King and Queen rule, ensuring peace and acceptance in the clan. They always confer with the rest of the dragons of the clan before a main decision is made, holding a council. For many years the Unified Crown has ruled Dragon Hill, but it was not always this way.
Before the creation of the Crown, the clan was divided, perhaps not even existing as a clan. The clan was mostly a loose band of dragons who lived on the Hill. Bloodthirsty dragons wanted to use it for war on the clans enemies, while some just wanted to raise a family, and others complained constantly that their was no way to raise a family if the clan kept accepting strangers and refugees. Finally Viper and Valor stepped in, carving a proper home into the Hill and creating the Unified Crown for the Torn to join under.
As you can see, visitor, this is why we are called the Torn, because we are all vastly different dragons, but with guidance, unity, and co-operation we have been able achieve greatness. As long as you stay here under the Crown's acceptance, you will always be welcomed and safe from harm.
