Biography

Melkor has a past about which he does not speak, though he fights with a gentledragon's weapon, has gentle speech and manners, and comports himself with refinement and discretion. He is also a quick death with two wings.

Melkor was the original king of Arda. Now he is just another subject of his love, Mairon (although an important, elevated, valued subject). He loves only two things: pleasing Mairon and the glory of the battlefield. He is why Arda is a land of both Fire and Plague. Although he himself is an arcane dragon, a wizard of unmatched skill, he prefers the fires of the forge for creating weapons and the plagues that result from battle wounds. He lives for the battle. When he was the leader, Arda would battle every other clan around them. Mairon prefers a subtler, more seductive approach, though. Melkor now makes do with the fighting pits of Arda, training the next generation to be prepared for the great war that he is sure will come.
