Biography
Camouflage is a smart and somewhat exotic lady. She once tried training at the Coliseum, but left after deciding it wasn't something that interested her. Nevertheless, the time she did spend training left her with a number of useful skills, so she is highly capable of defending herself if need be.
She has a dwelling of her own deep in the forest, although nobody else knows exactly where it is, on account of how well the outside resembles the trees and bushes that surround it. Attempts to follow Camouflage to its location have also proven unsuccessful because, as her name suggests, Camouflage is rather difficult to keep track of in the forest. Nevertheless, if one was to look inside Camouflage's lair, they would find it quite cosy-looking.
In her lair, Camouflage keeps a large collection of herbs and spices, which she gathers from the surrounding forest. Although as a nocturne she likes to eat meat and and insects, Camouflage finds that a pinch of dried plants can vastly improve a meal's flavour. She is an expert at determining exactly the right proportions to achieve the perfect taste.
Once every few weeks, Camouflage sets up a stall at the local market, selling both dried herbs and dishes she has created with them. She also takes the opportunity to catch up with all the friends she has made there. Camouflage is a great conversation partner, able to find the perfect balance between listening to the other dragon, and entertaining them with her own words.
Since Camouflage is able to hunt and catch her own food, she does not rely on the money she earns at the market. However, she does enjoy occasionally going out and treating herself to a length of silk or patterned rug to decorate the inside of her lair, or some new pretty clothing to wear. It is also a great opportunity to chat with other stall-holders who are too busy keeping their own stalls to visit hers.
Camouflage also sometimes buys the tools which she finds easier to buy than to make herself. However, although she doesn't make them, she has a shrewd eye and a good understanding of what to look for in terms of quality. For instance, she is unlikely to be taken in by a shiny, gem-adorned knife which loses its edge after the first cut. Unless she is specifically looking for some useless yet pretty trinket to decorate her lair with, that is.
Camouflage has also found a great use for her mimicry instinct. When she is buying something from a trader whom she finds suspicious, she pays attention to her own feelings. If she notices an urge to lie or cheat, then it is highly likely that the trader is being dishonest. This has served her well in deciding whom to trust in difficult situations.
