This young princess is a blessing from The Arcanist. Jacaranda's magical power had been growing incredibly powerful, and she had a growing desire to pass on her magic to a child of her own- so she began to pray to The Arcanist for the ability for her and her permanent mate Neri to have a child magically. Jacaranda's prayers were answered by the Arcanist himself, who told the arch mage that he would honor her years of magical service to him with this gift. Jacaranda made the largest amount of living, nature based, magic to conjure up a ball of energy that swirled with her own purple and blue tones, and Neri did her best to add what little magic she had to it. When the heavy mist faded, a skydancer hung in the air for just a moment before the glow around her faded and she fell, Neri running to catch her. Much of the clan was astonished at the birth of the beautiful skydancer, who's wings seemed to reflect the star filled sky.

Her birth was a miracle, and the tiny skydancer had eyes that matched the arcane flight she'd been born in. When she was first born, her form was very unstable, and while she looked like a hatchling at first, she grew up far quicker than the average dragon. Adventurous, young, and full of magic, she caused mischief all around the clan, but she was cute enough to get away with it.

Royalis is cheerful and optimistic, as her birth was a miracle, so what else could be impossible? She is a ray of sunshine who is universally loved throughout the clan. She has never left the clan in her life, except when she has gone with her mother to visit the Arcanist himself and help him work. She has a passion for the sky and moon, just like her mother, and loves to work on star maps in the Observatory. Royalis is somewhat sheltered, because of this, and is a little naive. She is still a child, and so she still lives with her moms, both of whom she adores, and who adore her.

She trains with every mage in the clan, working on honing her magical abilities, trying to find her own specialty. As a being of pure magic, she seems to excel with magic more than the average dragon. Her overflowing arcane energy manifested in the symbol she wears above her head and makes her wings, eyes, and shoulders sparkle and glow with energy. The skydancers physical form is made of magic, and this makes her a very talented shapeshifter. She was the first dragon in the clan to learn shapeshifting magic, as it came very naturally to her, and she was able to teach it to many other of the clan's mages. She still works with the clan's other mages to hone her techniques and help them with their shapeshifting, but she has taken a focus to some plant based magic, like her aunt, Hydrangea, who she adores.

Familiar: Arcana

Arcana the sprite was a gift to Jacaranda from the Arcanist himself, for her service in starmapping. Jacaranda entrusted her to Royalis, her beloved daughter, to help her train her magic, and keep an eye on the happy go lucky girl. Royalis has a tendency to wander, and to absentmindedly go places when she's practicing her magic, and the sprite helps keep the Princess from wandering off the spire or from tripping across a brewing cauldron. The sprite also helps her with her studies, as she has a massive knowledge of magic and a good discipline to help her stay focused.

Family & Friends

Jacaranda is an incedibly doting mother. She's a very attentive mother, though she does her best to allow the young skydancer space to grow. Royalis loves her mom, though, and spends much of her time studying with her. She's taken magic training from her since she was a child, and frequently helps with her star mapping and other duties for the Arcanist. Royalis frequently goes with her to the Observatory, though nowhere else, even in the starfall isles. Although she is now old enough to move to her own cave or tent in the clan, she still lives with both of her moms.

Jacaranda

Neri

Neri si a cold and quiet dragon, and this has made some assuming that she would not make a wonderful mother- but they would be wrong. Neri is always incredibly soft and gentle with her daughter, always ready to play with her. Neri is much more open with Royalis than she is with anyone else, except for Jacaranda. She always does her best to listen to and spend time with her daughter. Neri is a great listener, and often takes Royalis on small flights around the outside area of the clan, to wave at Aero's ship and look at the spirit fish. Royalis loves Neri, and is glad to still live with her parents and spend as much time with them as she can.
