I am a MOUNTAINEER!
The first Mountaineers were a nation of adventurers. They travelled above the mountain tops of dangerous ridges just to find artefacts and gemstones such as the common quartz. While it is not a special item in general, a mountaineer’s quartz will always be the most brilliant and valuable quartz, which made it their symbol and trademark. They decided against digging mines and pits – unlike other earth flight dragons, they are hikers! To be a grown up Mountaineer means, risking your life for the sake of hoarding raw crystals and rare goods. When they hike down to the valleys where their families wait for their return, they always prove to be great storytellers. You should really sit down and listen to what they have to say one day – because they are literally living on the edge!

Every possible Mountaineer breed calls themselves a little different. The Snappers like to be named as Mountain tops, the Tundras are Fluffclambers (thx to SerpentineSage) and the Ridgebacks are well known as Mountain Ridges.
