Afflux is an alchemist with a bent towards genetics. He also has a dark fascination with necromantic magic, but he keeps this to himself. He knows if Altua found out she may banish him or worse. When young many thought we would become a great warrior, but his thirst for power led him into seeking knowledge and mastery of the mystic arts as well. In battle, he’s unpredictable and enjoys taunting his enemies, much to the dismay of his clan leader.

Afflux , much like his mate, loves clan gossip. He is aware that she starts a lot of it and sometimes he feeds her bits of “information” in order to stir the pot. He only does this when he is after something. So far, his mate is rather clueless to his manipulating her and believes she is the only dragon he will not lie to other than his adopted sister Onyxia.



 		Afflux found Onyxia as an egg. He kept it hidden until she hatched and then he convinced her that she was his sibling. He brought her back to the clan, and has raised her with the help of his mate. It is obvious she loves him and would do anything for him. No one in the clan has had the heart to contradict Afflux ’s story, so they allow it to go on. Altua and Mythos both feel he’s up to something but neither have confronted him about it yet..
