19852811p.png 		To discover the sanity in which a dragon has, one needs only to look at its profession. A baker would be precise and thorough, very normal. A minstral would have a keen ear for tunes and stories, playful in every aspect of life. An oracle, majestic and serene, floating through the day like a soft summer breeze. Completely balanced. A tree masseuse--

--A tree masseuse was someone who was clearly and utterly insane. Deranged to the core. Do trees even need massages? Dano thought so. Passersby would gaze awkwardly at him as he worked the bark meticulously, kneading as if it were the scales upon his very back. He hummed an odd, yet slightly familiar tune, and only a dragon well versed in music would recognize it to be a very, VERY, tone deaf melody, albeit common to those who had the tongue to sing it correctly. If he weren't so foolishly friendly towards every dragon who crossed his path, despite whatever their disposition, the clan would probably have been inclined to dump him back into the Shifting Expanse. They also discovered that if they successfully disguised themselves as various conifer from the surrounding woodland, they could trick the ridgeback into giving them quite wonderful massages. Even the most uptight dragon would occasionally attempt to steal a free massage from him, and it never ceased to amuse any wandering clan members who caught them in the act.

Through all his very eccentric behaviors, there was one dragon who not only tolerated him, but adored him. She was, however, just as much an oddball in her own right. Wherever Dano was to be found, Effy could usually be spotted lingering close by. They took frequent breaks together to delight in Stingray meals, a friendly duel of the wits (or lack thereof; Effy always lost), or to listen in on one of Erolith's famous tales.

This is why you don't ask your non-FR playing husband what profession he wants his birthday ID dragon to have. You end up with tree masseuses running around the clan.
