______ A dragon that has lived a full life before settling down in the Lair, if there is one word to describe Pike it is pedantic. He knows the way a Lair should be properly run and tries his hardest to make sure things are going according to the rules. He is self-appointed battle instructor of the Hatchlings, making sure they know how a dragon should behave on the field of battle. His fire magic is useful for keeping the lair warm and cozy, to the complaint of some of the Ice Element dragons and the praise of Smelter. Pike takes meticulously good care of his armor, making sure each ornate platinum piece is fit for battle by polishing it with various salves of his own invention. While not as swift or surprising as other warriors, the steadfast Pike is a solid and always reliable defender of the lair. His presence on the field of battle always makes victory feel certain.

______ As a fully qualified Knight Pike lives but a rather archaic code of conduct as set down by Light Flight Duelists that consist of a lot of rules for formalized combat and a few brutal rules for warfare that have left this silver-armored figure a legend among the Lair. Though Pike is a stately figure among other dragons the laws of the Code of Knighthood notably only apply to dragons and all other opponents must face his unrestrained wrath. Breathing columns of scarring fire Pike prefers to ambush his prey, cut their throats with his sharp claws then fully eliminate them to make sure the threat is fully neutralized. His ruthlessly efficient battle tactics have earned him a position as Commander of the defected Centaur Herd, the Dragon's Teeth Centaurs. His second-in-command, a former Wintermane Spearman who now goes by the name of Iason Drakestooth is one who has learned Draconic to communicate with their commander and is often found charging into battle at the Windclaw's side, corralling their prey with sharp jabs of his spear. All of the Drakestooth Centaur Herd prize martial prowess above all and apply the strict code of honor of their patron to each other, resulting in disputes being settled by highly ritualized and elegant duels.
