Enkidu

Since Enkidu was a child he was alone.

He does not know how he was separated from his parents or if he was simply left out as an abandoned egg in Dragonhome. But since his hatching he was gifted with an astounding and unearthed strength that allowed him to survive in the wild even as a newborn. A strength no doubt endowed by the Earthshaker himself. He was found by a pack of wolves and he grew up among them as the son of the Alpha she-wolf and her pups as his brothers and sister. He grew up learning the speech of the wild animals and knew not the tongue of dragons as he became an unmatched hunter. Tragedy would strike his pack when he was still a child, and it was his first encounter with other dragons. Slaughtering his family. He bore a great mistrust for his own kind and himself thereafter, withdrawing into nature and migrating through the world wearing the skin of his mother to find healing for his spirit. Learning the tongue of all animals and growing perceptively in tune with nature, the beasts, and the earth but never staying long in one place.

One day after years of solitude, he was an adolescent found by a passing herd of Dunhoof and they took him in to raise among their growing foals. He was wary at first but soon grew found of the herd and began learning the tongues of the Beast Clans. Unbeknownst to him they also taught him the tongue of dragons, although his voice is accented with the remnants of wolf speech. From them he learned the art of healing, both spiritual and physical. He grew even more in tune with the animals and beasts, healing any creatures he came along by that were wounded or sick. Soon making a long life companion and friend in the Dunhood Shamhat. He found peace with them and a manner to forgive the wrongs in his past but also a crisis of identity and his place in the natural order of the world.

The Dunhoof herd introduced him to the world and society of dragons. Despite his initial distrust he slowly entered the world with Shamhat at his side. Initially he was rejected, too wild and untamed for many of the clans he met with the herd of Ambassadors he called family. His perceptiveness to see the pain in others frightened those that met him and his great strength caused them terror despite his clam and kind nature. He grew sorrowful wondering his place in the world, neither beast nor dragon. Till the herd one day passed through the Sunbeam Ruins.

He was fascinated by the ruins, he had seen them before when he had traveled through but as a weary beast at the time he dared not approach with the scent of dragons heavy in the air. The scholars of Clan Lux Veri were intrigued by his primal knowledge, though initially wary of his obvious wild nature. He was gifted a set of jewels as a welcoming gift and they offered to teach him to read and write. He soon found he loved books, histories and epics of nature and refined his study of languages. Since then he has stayed in the clan even if he is a bit detached from the society of dragons to tend to the gardens or the clan's animals and familiars. His linguist skills are unmatched and he has even developed code languages for the clan. Sometimes he wanders back into nature for a while before returning.
