" isnt it strange that the most gentle of hearts belong to all the souls on fire " ___________________________________________✧✧ Ishani sighed softly, leaning back from the kite she was finishing up, her paintbrush laying on a towel. Finished… the kite that had taken her almost a ear to complete was now sitting and drying on her desk. The intricate swirls of black and gray were mixing together to tell a story of love and family, a special request from one of her fellow clan members. She smiled happily about to wipe her head with her hand before catching a glimpse at her hand and giggled softly. Paint was EVERYWHERE and she was just about to wipe it onto her forehead. Shaking her head some she took one last look at her work before she headed down to the stream to wash the pain from her scales. Now it was time to take it to the family that had waited so long for this. She gently took the kite into her mouth before she was slowly making her way to the south side of the clan to a cave much further away from the others and looked inside with a small smile. A mother and her three kids were playing around, giggling coming from inside. The children grew more excited seeing Ishani and ran over to her. “Ishani! Ishani is that the kite!” one child squeaked as Ishani made her way into the cave and softly put the kite down and nodded “Yep! Your papas kite is done..”She smiled and turned to face the mother dragon who was smiling softly at her. Ishani touched her forehead to hers “I am so sorry it took so long” She said softly and the mother smiled “He would have been happy to receive such a beautiful kite” She murmured softly. Ishani nodded “Hopefully he is still happy though now that he is home with the dragon gods” She said softly before dipping her head some before she made her way back home though a voice caught her attention and she looked towards the center of the clan and there was morning, laughing about with a few of the other males from the clan and she smiled, making her way over to him. “Hello morning” She said softly, smiling at him. She was quiet innocent though something about that always had the males falling for her, not that she realized that though. “Oh hi Ishani!” he said, the boys flirtatious attitude showing its head once she showed. She giggled softly “I finally finished the kite for that family” She spoke softly, her yellow eyes glistening with happiness. The male smiled “Great! That is awesome Ishani… I know they will treasure it… your work is amazing” he praised her, making her blush softly. The male shook his head slightly and cleared his throat “Well um since you’ve finished would you like to have dinner?” he asked her, obviously like hte others he was slightly smitten with her. She shook her head softly “No.. I think it would be best if I spent some time with Nagini.” She said and he looked disappointed by her answer “Though maybe tomorrow” She said and giggled when the dragon perked and nodded. She bid him good night before heading back to her cave, calling for her Serpenta who came trotting out to meet her. She smiled, kissing its head softly before she went to lay down, the beast making a soft chirping noise as it curled into her side. Credit got lost while editing out artwork  . |
