Empire of Death: Clan of Death

Cerberus is the head of his clan turned empire and makes sure to keep a watchful eye out for any dragon that strays too far. Already he has seen many dragons come and go whether to another clan, to serve a deity, or through death. While he doesn't like letting strangers into his clan he grants them a few days rest if they are not deemed a threat. If anyone ever dares to threaten his clan, he won't show kindness and will protect the others like he'd protect his hoard. No matter what enemy Cerberus is facing he is willing to fight. His power has so far overcome any challenge that has faced him, though if he loses he will train and become stronger until he can strike down his enemies with ease.
Because of this need to fight and grow stronger his claws are permanently stained red with the blood of his enemies and those unlucky enough to face his path. He wears his scars like trophies to create fear and respect among other dragons. Since the expansion of his clan Cerberus has grown into a leader to be feared and is ruthless to enemies. He disposes of the weak and keeps the strong—though is willing to give any dragon a chance to prove themselves; Plague territory has no place for the weak. Of course, his clan is still open to those in need—he may not show mercy to those who defy him but he isn't a heartless beast—and while he tolerates their stay they know not to overstay their welcome. |

Cerberus doesn't run the empire alone of course. His mate Anubis grants him aid from time to time and helps keep things running smoothly and fairly. The pair also have a trio of royal guards trained just to protect them if anything should happen, though none of the dragons in the Empire of Death would think of rising against their leader after everything he's done—and would do—for them. Any that would ever think about it wouldn't be around that long, as they've been known to disappear mysteriously. His growing age and high rank doesn't stop him from making other dragons do the dirty work when necessary but Cerberus takes great pride in showing off his own powers in a battle. When it comes down to it, he will always lead the way into a battle and fight next to his dragons. His Royal Guard protect him from anything that may kill him but even they know he can handle himself; most dragons cower at his confident movements and large stature even if it's simply a casual stretch of his wings. Whether that's due to his reputation or appearance is debated from dragon to dragon. However most newcomers are often nervous to be approached by him for the first time; sometimes this fear even sticks around long after they've settled in. For all the guardian does for his empire, many dragons don't get to know him personally if they aren't a high rank. |
