After all, I am their worst nightmare. Except for those Mistwatch Shellions. Or the Heartred Croakers. Or the Kamaitatchi. And don't you pay any notice to the inept fumblings of my inevitable trainees. Never mind. I am fearless and ferocious and, yes, fond of my tea. Now Go Away.

Caden stomped loudly through the lair entrance, lashing the walls with is tail and causing small showers of pebbles.
"SNOW!" he announced loudly and with great disdain.
Silence.
No one else was awake. Of course not. Why should anyone else be up? No one else had to drag those inept tributes through training. Really? Wasn't it enough that he, a dragon of the warm, green, humid paradise that was the Viridian Labrynth, had moved to the Earthshaker's barren domain? It was true there was a stark beauty to the land. And no Shellions. But still. Dragonhome of all places. Now he had to contend with SNOW?
Hah. He was going to take the day off. Have a cup of tea. With maybe more than tea.
And have the tributes shovel clear the lair entrance.
