Biography

Lives in the depths of the lair.

Vault keeper.

Got some inspiration on what to do with Pike. He’s going to be a shade-creature for sure, one that was severed from the main shade by the activation of protective barriers along the edge of clan territory. Since then he’s formed a sense of self and a personality of his own, and has no knowledge of what he truly is or memory of what he used to be (because until he was separated he was just a part of the hivemind and had no individuality or memories that were really his own. He was about as aware of the Shade as a single cell is aware of the multicellular organism it is a part of).

While he was developing he took on a corporeal form and he is now stuck in it, unable to return to the incorporeal shade-mist he once was. He has no real shade powers, but he has no elemental powers either even though he has green-ish wind eyes. Anything meant to sense/capture/destroy the Shade would work pretty well on him.

He’s very friendly, and will readily greet and introduce himself to anyone he sees, and is naturally chatty. He is naive and a tad oblivious, and has trouble picking up hints of all kinds. Tends to be non-confrontational and meek, and will go out of his way to avoid people he doesn’t like or people he knows that dislike him.

He constantly seeks to be around other creatures because he can subconsciously feel that lost connection to the Shade and seeks to form bonds with others to fill the gap. Sometimes even being in a crowded area isn’t enough to prevent him from feeling lonely and longing to recover his lost connection.

So what would happen to him if another shade-being managed to slip past the barrier? One that isn’t as harmless as he is?
