QUETZALCOATL
Tinker / Inventor

At a very young age Quetzalcoatl was cast away from his birth clan and his parents shamed due to his disabled right wing. He could not fly, the bones and muscles in his wings had not developed fully and as such barely had the ability to flex. He was taken into this clan and grandfathered by the clan's metalsmith, Ixen. The grizzled, nearly blind Tundra taught the young Coatl how to work the trade of Quetz's origin home. Quetz excelled at the skill, and was soon building small pieces of machinery. When he reached his teenage years he finally was able to build what he considers his best invention ever: his mechanical wing supports. With the help of his modified apparel Quetz can fly as strong as any dragon, if not maybe even better. There are few pieces of apparel in this dragon’s possession that do not serve a purpose other than basic protection and fashion.

The small, serpentine dragon does not only put his skills to use to help himself however. His engineering skills are used all over the area, from fixing watches and jewelry to making custom prosthetics and mechanical aids for other disabled dragons. His skills are important to his clan and his generosity and genuine kindness open many doors for his future. His golem companion, Copper, is always at his side and assists with his work when needed. When he's not in his workshop he can be found battling with his team to gather resources for his clan and his inventions.

Usually they don't have a function besides being great apparel, but I've added a biomechanical feature into them to help me fly better (I've always had a problem with flying ever since I was little). See, the gears turn and everything!" he says he opens his wings, causing the gears to click and whir. "So yeah, I have metalworking skills, which my Grandpa taught me, and I am a little bit more resistant to fire since that is the land where I was born, so I think that sums up my introduction for now!"
