Anguish is far from the clan of her birth, born of cursed blood of those who denied the call of the Plaguebringer when exalted to the Wyrmwound. Her body leaks a corrosive fluid, her skin burned and melted away to expose what lies beneath, flexing and oozing with her every movement. She has adapted, having learned to work with the ailment rather than to cave to the pain, utilizing the acid that oozes from between what few scales remain for creative purposes.

Creative purposes that often get her in trouble with authority figures.

Away from the prying eyes of her devout parents, Anguish has taken up the mantle of a “scavenger,” her corrosive touch being more than enough to melt the locks off of sealed chests and burn holes through stubborn ruin walls, or the occasional vault wall if the opportunity presents itself. To say she has a knack for making riches is an understatement, though she isn’t very picky where she “finds” her loot. In her mind, the way of a Plague dragon is “survival of the fittest,” and anyone dim enough to leave their valuables where she can access them is far from “the fittest.”

When not swiping objects and scrounging for baubles, Anguish tends to spend her time far away from others, far from the rumors that swirl about her, far from the curious who keep wanting to touch her. She is arrogant, believing herself to be a far cry from the cretins that surround her, and always adamant that she is correct in her actions, her opinions, and anything else she could possibly be correct about. When she does bother to socialize, she finds that Ridgebacks understand her better than her own breed, if only because they tend not to mind when their belongings go missing...
