XXX★ Yerna The Leader ★

Powerful / Mighty / Motherly Yerna is a peaceful Guardian who dedicated her life to her clan. She is usually very quiet and friendly. That's why she's often seen as graceful. Whenever there's trouble the dragons first come to her to ask her what to do. Yerna doesn't want to be seen of a higher rank than others but some members of her clan insist that - she's the leader after all. Her Charge is the whole Clan of Visions.

It was a cold day at the Crystalspine Reaches when Yerna was born.
She didn't know where she came from, there was nobody around to tell her who she was or what she needed to do. But her instincts helped her to survive.
Many days came and many nights she layed alone in her nest, too big for just one dragon.

Every night Yerna had a strange, ongoing dream. She dreamed of a mighty clan with many different dragons. Some of them were born there, some had travelled many years before they joined. There were friends, lovers, sisters, brothers and even though only few of them were actually related they were all a big family. And Yerna was their leader.

One night the dream lasted for a long time and Yerna felt a warmth that still stayed after she woke up. First she thought the warmth came from her dream but then she saw a little Fae laying besides her. She knew him, in her dream he was always there.
He told her that he was exploring the Reaches but when he realized that it was too dark to build a nest for himself he decided to join Yerna in her big nest. The Fae apologized and promised her to make up for sleeping there without asking her first. Yerna smiled and asked him to stay.

Foye the Fae was the first one joining Yerna. She told him about her dream and together they decided to build up a clan that will be like the mighty clan in her vision.

Many months passed and the Clan of Visions grew great and mighty. Dragons of all kinds joined Yerna and Foye. Some went on their way, some stayed. The clan got everything it needed - hunters, cooks, watchmen, even priestesses for every elemental holiday.

Yerna and most of the clan members still got visions. Most of them were good, some were bad. One day Yerna got a vision that was strange.

In her vision Yerna saw a great group of dragons travelling away from their abandoned clan territory. It didn't look like there was a war or some other negative reason why the dragons would move - they just moved. Yerna didn't think much about it - first she thought it was only a dream.

A few days later Yerna got visited by Nirishi, the vision archivist. She told Yerna that a few dragons went to her to update her on their latest visions. After a few dragons had told her the exact same vision - and after she got the same - she decided to inform the clan leader about it.

They all had dreamed about moving clans.

Yerna called all clan members to a great gathering where they discussed the visions and how they should interpret them.
Many dragons admitted that they haven't been too happy with their home lately or that they needed a fresh start so the clan alltogether decided that it would be time to move.

The next few weeks every dragon was able to vote where they would like to move but soon they realized that it wasn't as easy as they had thought. They just couldn't decide.

Days went by and the dragons grew more frustrated and anxious about their vision. All dragons got it by now but it was always just the picture of the moving dragons they saw, not where they went.

Yerna was restless. She moved around and didn't know what to do. She sat under a tree, closed her eyes and prayed to the deities.

When she fell asleep Yerna saw herself standing on a wide field of flowers. The scent of honey lingered in the air and birds were chirping. She slowly turned around and as she looked behind her she saw a great forest. Slowly she walked towards it and as her feet touched the bark of a tree in the first row she felt her heart skipping a beat. A soft wind blew through the crowns.

As Yerna woke up again she knew - their new home was ment to be in the Viridian Labyrinth.
