_____Stone is a dragon slave to his own insatiable curiosity. Since hatchling-hood, he had stubbornly sought every mystery the world had to offer, oftentimes leading him into dangerous situations; the reckless abandon with which he pursued each supposed conundrum was rapidly becoming apparent to even himself, pushing him to create a safer way to appease his curiosity. Thus, Stone began inventing; from that young age, he began creating devices to test what he could do - to test the boundaries of technology, and to have control over his object of interest. This was seen by his adoptive nature clan as a sort of betrayal - a return to his lighting flight roots that they would not tolerate (or, worse, an inclination towards the arcane flight, for which they could see no excuse); Stone was affronted by this accusation, as he loved nature dearly - it is, after all, a massive part of science. However, his insistence of his love for the nature flight wasn't enough to placate his clan, and they drove him out.
_____Stone wandered for weeks, slinking from shelter to shelter, creating and selling unchallenging technologies to afford food, as he was a poor hunter. Eventually, Vuur approached Stone (having seen him several times at the auction house) and to what clan he belonged, to which Stone replied with none. Vuur, baffled that such a brilliant inventor wouldn't have a clan, offered him a place with the Flickering Shadows; honored, Stone agreed to join them, spending his days creating brilliant contraptions, and being proud to finally be recognized as a true member of the nature flight.
