When Rhaella was young, her brother chose to join the Stormcatcher's troops and left their clan. Her parents were filled with pride and started pressuring her to join, too. She, however, wasn't as excited as all she wanted was a peaceful life with her family.
As the pressures and expectations became too much to handle she ran away in order to find a place where she could feel appreciated.
After a long journey she found her way to Crystalspine Reaches where she was adopted by the clan. Since she isn't much of a hunter and fighting pretty much terrifies her, she currently helps Rhaegan with his more mundane jobs.
She has a passion for building mechanical gadgets.

As the clan has grown, so has her confidence. Nowadays she is one of the most reliable and well liked members of the clan.
She is still kind of awkward and clumsy, though.

"Um, eh, hi! I was just trying to fix this... I'm not sure what it is. But Boss told me to fix it so here I am... fixing it."
