A Wildclaw with feathers dark as shadows and a belly of fireflies screams and struggles as she's held down by two healer dragons. Three nurses in total had shown up to make sure her eggs hatched healthy. They... did not. "Miss, I'm sorry... the hatchlings were all stillborn. You need to move on." "NO! I saw them, Rolan was breathing! Lies and deceit, you just want me to abandon my hatchlings so I can resume my knighthood... SHADE WORSHIPERS... LET ME FREE!" She continued to struggle in vain, as the third healer returned and held down the mother's deadly claws. Quite suddenly, the Wildclaw's rage grew so great she headbutted one of the healers' helmets (used for protection against potentially angry patients), and knocked herself out. The young caretaker whose helmet had been rung gasped, and immediately began treatment. They couldn't lose the mother over something like this, not with how important she was to the King's armed forces. "Damn it, Kero... I'm sorry for this," the healer whispered, as she used one of her most recent spells on the poor dragon. The hatchlings were swiftly buried, and for as long as possible, the mother would think she never had a mate to begin with- the task made easier as he had died in battle a few months earlier.
