SunTzu is the leader of the dragons at the Elderwatch Oasis. SunTzu is assisted by the Band of Councilors, which consists of Merlot, Sioc, Finn, and Dorian. Despite their advice, he is the sole leader, and among the clan his word is law. SunTzu has never taken a mate, or had hatchlings. He prefers to devote his time to keeping his clan well fed and cared for.

The clan started out as only SunTzu, Sioc, and Merlot, on a mission to dispatch a particularly vicious Emperor dragon in the region. Their first encounter with their enemy went badly, and Merlot was badly wounded. It was after this fight that they met Dusk. Although they were skeptical that a Pearlcatcher could offer value to their quest, he impressed them by developing a cunning plan to defeat the Emperor dragon.

After the fight, the Imperials decided to stay in the desert, and thus the clan was born. Dusk returned with his mate Eclipse, and slowly over the years the clan grew. Today the clan has two main purposes - working and maintaining the oasis garden, and keeping watch for marauding Emperors in the desert.

SunTzu is proud, but he tries his best to not let his pride come before his clan. While they are not close on a personal level, Merlot is his trusted advisor. Most dragons in the clan find SunTzu intimidating, but Merlot is not afraid to question SunTzu's decisions, and the clan is better off for it.

He is generally quiet and somber, taking his responsibilities for the clan very seriously. Other dragons often leave him alone, afraid to interrupt. While he would welcome more social contact if others initiated it, he rarely goes out of his way to make the first move in friendship. 		NJLaLTk.png 17484006p.png
