Nobody knows Dirge's real name, except Lucathia, who gave him the nickname everyone calls him by, and Terrifa - his 2 closest friends. Dirge and lucathia has met each other on their travels, and together they joined the NP clan. They were also the first imperials to join the clan. Dirge was always looked down by his family for being the smallest out of all of his siblings. One day after a quarrel with his father Dirge got up and left his birth clan. Small as he may be, Dirge turned out to be a great fighter, and lived alone for weeks, wandering aimlessly around the wind territory, till he met Lucathia. Lucathia was the Largest Imperial Dirge had seen so far, yet she did not look down for him for his size. Instead, she demanded a sparring fight, claiming it's been too long since she had one with her brothers, and she's seen Dirge fight, he'd be a good substitute. After that, these two started to travel together, fighting off beastclans, sparring with each other and just enjoying the travels in company. --- After some time, they came upon a lone coatl medic trying to battle with two beastclan members by herself. They rushed to help her, but before they got there the fight was almost over in the coatl's favour. That's how they met Terrifa, the right hand of the NP clan's leader. Intruged, they followed her back to her clan, and after few days decided to stay. Same as Lucathia, Dirge became one of the clan's fighters and hunters. After some time the clan welcomed a new imperial named Snowcherry, in whom Dirge found a mate. Snowcherry may be a bit jealous off Dirge's relationship with Terrifa and Lucathia, even if she knows he'd never betray her, and returns to her every night. |
Leaving the clan was the best and worst thing Snowcherry and Dirge ever did; while it found them a new home-Dirge a wanderer at heart, and Snowcherry following, loyally, in his footsteps- but it caused the pair to be noticed by the forces that fought for Stormcatcher, and Snowcherry was called to fight for him. Dirge...did not take this well. Slowly, steadily, he grew more and more reclusive, aloof, and cold...slowly, a change began to take hold in him, one that is worrying Dante the more he sees it.
