The "leader" of the clan, so to speak.
Hushes even the chattiest of crowds and manifests dread with only a gaze, though a keen observer may feel that this is a facade to hide something. He is the dragon most likely to have rumors spread about him by hatchlings. (he only pretends he doesn't care)
He is not the founder of the clan, but shifting ability and leadership skill allowed him to drive the clan through thick and thin. He was eventually deemed best fit to lead by the founder (who then stepped down himself).

Takes dunks in the Wyrmwound, playing games of disease chicken. Doctors hate him.

He truly cares for his clanmates, and has taken countless seemingly fatal blows for greenhorn trainees (much to said trainees' shock and dismay)
Those that have stuck around long enough to bond with him know that he'll just pick himself back up and maul the offender with all of his tiny nocturne fury.

(but not without being dramatic and playing up an injury)

This tenacity is what keeps him the leader of his clan.
